Buddy Hield says having Kobe Bryant in the stands gave him extra motivation.
After Kobe Bryant showed up to watch Buddy Hield in the Sweet 16, the Oklahoma star said he'd have scored more if he'd known Kobe was there.
Saturday, Kobe showed up again and this time, Hield knew ... and it showed.
Hield torched the Oregon Ducks for 37 points, putting a stamp on his dominating tourney run thus far. Through four games, Hield is averaging 29.3 points. In the Sweet 16 against Texas A&M, he scored just 17 points -- that's the game Bryant showed up for to Hield's surprise.
He was happy for the attention and even got a photo op with the NBA star afterward, but Saturday was a different story.
Kobe Bryant is oohing & ahhing over the Buddy Hield show. Hield said last game had he known Kobe was in the house, he wouldve scored more.

So, sorry Oregon fans, but you know who to blame.
